Philips Model 21CT621 "Mercury" Console
A 21" (53 cm) console receiver having 110º picture tube, 16 valves, eight germanium diodes, five voltage-dependent resistors. Cabinet, on castors, finished in maple, walnut or rose mahogany.
Features: aerial input 300 or 75 ohms. Ten channel (VHF) cascode turret tuner. Two frame-grid valves in three-stage IF; two sound IF stages, ratio detector. DC coupling to picture tube tube. Keyed, gated, delayed AGC; frequency controlled noise gate. Stabilised vertical, horizontal and EHT circuits. New horizontal chassis, easily accessible for servicing.
Controls: push-button on-off, channel selector, fine tuning, brightness/contrast, volume/tone. Rear preset-horizontal hold, vertical hold. (FROM MINGAY'S PRICE SERVICE)
