Notes

The original tube line up of Philips model 2514 comes with rectifier 2506, but the indirect heater was unreliable so Philips stopped the production in 1929 and made the 506K as a replacement. Most books only mention this replacement instead of the original rectifier.

There were 3 possible power transformers available with this model:

  • type I : 111, 118, 127, 225, 240 Volt.
  • type II : 196, 210, 225, 240, 253 Volt.
  • type with only 1 voltage at choice of customer: 103, 110, 118, 127, 135, 143, 155, 196, 210, 222, 240, 253.
