• Notes

• The original tube line up of Philips model 2514 comes with rectifier 2506, but the indirect heater was unreliable so Philips stopped the production in 1929 and made the 506K as a replacement. Most books only mention this replacement instead of the original rectifier.

  There were 3 possible power transformers available with this model: 

  • type I : 111, 118, 127, 225, 240 Volt.
  • type II : 196, 210, 225, 240, 253 Volt.
  • type with only 1 voltage at choice of customer: 103, 110, 118, 127, 135, 143, 155, 196, 210, 222, 240, 253.

  Bis zum Abschluss eines Gerätevertrages zwischen Telefunken und Philips (24. November 1931) war es Philips nicht erlaubt Rundfunkgeräte in Deutschland herzustellen. Philips-Geräte die bis dann in Deutschland verkauft wurden, sind in den Niederlanden hergestellt worden. Lorenz hat in diesen Jahren aber einige Philips-Modelle (wie Paladin) ohne Röhren importiert und mit Telefunken-Röhren in Deutschland verkauft.
