  • The Philips model 825S is a 3-band table top radio. It covers standard broadcast and 1.73-5.5 MHz and 5.5-18.1 MHz shortwave with internal loop or plate antenna.

    The 825S model is similar to the 825 model except it has a switch on the rear panel to select loop or plate antenna. The 825 model does not have a loop antenna.
