  • Notes
  • The calibrating oscillator GM2885 is intended for use in measurements requiring precisely known frequencies between 50 kHz and 44 MHz. It is used inter alia for calibrating and checking the scales of band-spread receivers, for calibration work in laboratories, etc. High accuracy is ensured by a 1 MHz crystal oscillator, which precedes a selective amplifier having a frequency range of 6-22 MHz. Also incorporated in the unit is an auxiliary oscillator for a range of 0.5-1 MHz. By mixing the two oscillator frequencies, or their harmonics, signals are obtainable which are continuously variable between 50 kHz and 44 MHz.
