Standard Model
Television receiver using the Nipkow disc and a glow discharge lamp as for the Model 1 plus a 4 valve receiver consisting of an HF, Detector, and LF combination with a rectifying valve receiving the BBC Midland Regional transmitter (Daventry) on the vision on 261 metres, and of the accompanying sound on 398 metres.
I also incorporated a stroboscopic speed indicator which enabled non-technical users to obtain accurate synchronisation.
