The Model ACA/51 portable amplifying equipment comprises a heavy-duty permanent magnet loudspeaker mounted in a carrying case measuring 12½” by 20” by 9” and within the container is accommodated the amplifier unit, a piezo-electric crystal microphone, and all necessary cables.
The amplifier unit is a fine example of compactness, for although it is rated to give an output of 8 watts maximum, it measures 1½” by 7½ by 8¼”, yet it is entirely self-contained. This model operates from the AC mains and consumes 50 watts. Priced at 30 guineas.
