  • Model: 3017A - Pye Ltd., Radio Works;
  • Shape
  • Tablemodel, with any shape - general.
  • Notes
  • Table radio with 9 bands. LW, MW, & 2 x SW; 65-200m & 31-66m. 5 x bandspread; 31m 25m 19m 16m 13m. Export version of model 1101A. Similar to earlier model 3017 but with newer valve line-up & metal rectifier.

    By this time Ekco is part of Pye so see similar or near identical models all using Metal Rectifier. The older Rimlock versions use a UY41 instead.

    There are probably other similar models with parallel heaters and isolated/earthed chassis.

    There are many Pye models from 1946 to early 1960s with 3 to 9 Bandspread Shortwave.
