There are two versions each with 4 models of the Pye Black Box covered by Trader sheet 1360 of 1958, which informs that there is  an export version of all these models and also later versions. Though there are two speakers and two output valves, it's mono "push pull" with the two loudspeakers in parallel, not stereo.

The Mk II versions differ in being "ultra linear", i.e. the EL42 screen grids are fed from extra taps on the primary of the audio output transformer.

    Models:

    1. BBH: plain dark cabinet and autochanger
    2. BBHS: plain dark cabinet and single discs
    3. BBHC: Chinese Lacquer style finish and autochanger
    4. BBHCS: Chinese Lacquer style finish and single discs

There is also an optional radio chassis in a matching base fitting under the cabinet.
