  • Same cabinet as Pye E/AC and Pye E/B but DC mains only, using 100mA series versions of the valves in E/AC (See CR/DC for a Pye DC mains only model of same era, but different appearance). The E/AC uses a single Pentode as Mixer/Osc (Frequency Converter) but the E/DC uses separate Tetrode Mixer  and Triode Local Oscillator valves.

    Five mains voltage taps and variable adjustment on HT with three filter chokes as well as Loudspeaker field winding. Additional filter Choke on V1 to V5 supply.

    DC Mains only!  Chassis connects to mains! Gram sockets and Aerial  are only capacitor isolated.
