    The mains supply can be AC or DC, hence the U in model name.

    Uses 2 x 126 type Bell batteries for LT and Pye K4 (wander plugs) 90V HT, perhaps a Portable 61 as the K4 is used in the "New Baby Q"

    Only differs from P27UBQ in case material, the P27UBQ is rexine covered wood.

    Probably black painted steel with Plastic (or maybe Bakelite) front and rear panels. On detail photos it appears to be the same cabinet as used on PE55MBQ, but with a smoother finish paint.
