  • The RCA Sound Tape Cartridge Player with Dual Amplifier, Model SCP-2, is an AC Operated Two Speed Four Track Tape Recorder. The SCP-2 consist of a TCT-2 Tape Transport and an RS-176 Amplifier. The Brand is "Stereo Orthophonic High Fidelity". This type of cartridges was on the market since 1958. One of the names is "KPS-3002" where the number is an order number for a specific cartridge. See a demonstration on wn.com. RCA Victor announced it in 1958 as "Living Stereo". Speed of this tape cartridge is 3.75 ips instead of 7.5 , giving 1 hour of stereophonic music for one hour per side.
