  • Notes
  • Tubes are listed only once per type. Actual count has three 6AS6, five 6CL6, thirteen 6U8, twelve 12AT7, two 12AX7 and one each of the others. This listing is for the main studio sync generator TG-2A and the variant TG-12A field unit, both units having the exact same tube count and schematic. The field unit is "portable" in the sense that it has a carrying handle, but weighing 60 pounds, is not designed to be relocated often. These sync generators contain multivibrator circuits which are essentially independent of tube characteristics. On the same chassis, these sync generators also include a power supply, grating generator, and Genlock. The Genlock feature permits locking the local sync generator to a sync signal from a remote source. Both units have horizontal drive, vertical drive, blanking and combined local sync outputs and a remote composite sync signal input for Genlock.
