This is a 45 rpm record player called the Slide-O-Matic and it requires an amplifier connected by an RCA phono jack. This is the RCA Victor Canada model.
It plays one record at a time. You slide the record in the front, lift up the loading plate and it plays automatically. When the record is finished, it automatically stops and drops the loading plate down and you slide out the record.
It uses about 15 watts when running.
Similar to the USA RCA Model RP-199 'Slide-O-Matic' manual record player.
It uses the RCA 74067 Crystal Cartridge, which has a medium level output of about .8 to 1.0V and typically has about a 10g tracking force.
