I have purchased an RCA Model WV77-E, Voltohmyst via online auction. Although I have not received the unit yet, the seller states that the ohms function is "off." Searching the manual, I find information on how to calibrate for correct voltage readings, but no calibration instruction is given for the resistance function. I was hoping to be be forearmed with a bit information about what to check on the ohms function of this meter by the time it arrives later this week.

(Of course I will inspect the battery terminals and replace the battery, first.)
