  • Notes
  • Complete kit including "cellophane wrapped case". Article published in a Ready Radio magazine (price 6d, supplied free!) for Meteor SG3 and 303.

Construction uses metal strips (brass?) under a "valve platform" sub-board (Bakelite?) with valve sockets mounted on a metal chassis. Almost like a PCB.

There are no dates in the magazine of 303 & Meteor SG3, but the PM12A is referred to as new this season. Some sources claim Mullard PM12A released 1932. The Permanent Magnet Moving Coil speaker suggests 1930+ rather than 1929.

LT: 2V Lead Acid Accumulator, recommended Block or Pertrix Accumulator PAC2 8s 6d.

    HT: 100V (perhaps really 99V) using 60 or 70, 90 & 100V taps. Or 60V pack (all HT = 60V). Pertrix Ultra Capacity HT 100V C/N 272 13s, or Pertrix yellow carton C/N 402 9s. See Winner 120GB (price shows Winner 99).

Grid Bias 9V pack with 1.5V taps, Pertrix yellow carton C/N 460 1s. See Winner 9.
