Same form factor of all the Spica horizontal coat-pocket portable sets, but named Sanritz. Seems to be much rarer than the Spica sets, even though similar in dimension and layout. Has metal tuning capacitor, rather than the smaller hybrid in the plastic case.
Goldtone metal mesh grille covers the front, and the tuning dial is backpainted gold, and says "Eiight Transistors". Has a cloisonne badge in the lower left hand corner of the front grille that has a capital 'S' on a black background. And inset label in the upper left hand corner says "SANRITZ".
Label on the inside of the back is on light blue paper. The manufacturer is stated as:
SANRITSU ELECRTIC. CO. LTD.
Note the spelling error in the manufacturer name.
The tuning dial has a window that exposes the frequency through a small window. There are CD marks on the dial underneath, triangular.
