    A typical feature for French models of this time is the LW & MW loop aerials at 90 degrees mounted on a drum rotated by panel control rather than a Ferrite Rod - the so-called Cadre à Air. An open coil vertically on the drum provides electrostatic screen against local interference (blindé).
