  • The name Masterpiece is a continuation after Scott had acquired the assets of McMurdo Silver Co.

    Note that page 7 of the Instruction Manual indicates that this radio has a "P -  shortwave 3 band  22.2meg - 60meg".  This band is not shown on the picture of the actual dial nor on the picture on the front page of the manual.  It is possible that the manual is for the FM Masterpiece model that has an FM band for early television.
