  • Notes
  • For the Silvertone models 2063 and 2064, sold by Sears, Roebuck & Co., there are two possible chassis: Chassis 101.860 is the earlier one with an electromagnetic type dynamic speaker. The later chassis, 101.860-1, features a permanent magnet type dynamic speaker. In fact they are the same chassis - only the output circuit is revised accordingly. The cabinet is also the same but 2063 is in Mahagoni, whereas 2064 is Blonde. Careful, there is also chassis 101.860-2 and even a chassis 101.860-3 with the same basics (tubes etc.) but with a different cabinet in 5 (color) versions and different model numbers. But chassis 101.860-2 is for the same model numbers 2063 and 2064. The difference of those models can be seen by a fuse for the primary windings of the power transformer (see also C31 and C44).
