  • The Sears Roebuck Model 6 Detector Receiving set was manufactured for Sears by The Precision Equipment Company which was owned by the Crosley Radio Corporation at this time. Crosley parts are used throughout the set. This little set tuned the wavelength range of 200-600 meters. The Model 6 sold for $60.95 complete with aerial, batteries, and three WD12 tubes. $59.20 with all accessories except aerial or $37.25 just for the radio with no accessories. A Magnavox Horn Speaker was recommended for this set but sold separately.WD12
