The Sears Silvertone 1652 is an AC operated 12 tube BC band receiver. Has separate oscillator tube and push-pull output stage. Note that the schematic is drawn somewhat confusing in that there are actually Qty(2) 56 tubes used in the detector/AVC stage (See tube location drawing). Minor production change with IF circuit to improve selectivity.
Sears service manual has instructions on changing oscillator tube from a 58 to a 24A to improve sensitivity, but it is unclear if this was a production change.
