Toshiba Micro Hi-Fi System MC855MUS

MC855MUS is a 3 CD changer Micro System.

The MC855MUS is a micro system produced by Semp in 2007 and can be considered as an evolution of model MC852MP3, in wich a subwoofer has been added to increase bass presence. This model also got an USB input for reproduction of digital audio files. The subwoofer channel counts on a specific bass reflex chamber and its dedicated 70W rms amplifier. Total power of the set is 170 Watts rms

Later on a third model of this family, with even more power, was produced under the code MC856MUS. This was due to a "power hungry market" at that time.

Main specs of MC855MUS

• Digital PLL tuning, FM = 87.5 to 108 MHz and MW = 520 to 1710 kHz
• 2 channel stereo and subwoofer
• 3 CD changer (lift system), MP3 playability, fluorescent display, full remote control, clock and timer functions, 9 preset sound equalizer and surround effect
• Output power = 2 x 50 Watts rms (L and R channels) and 70 W rms for subwoofer. All @ 10% THD (measured with 127 V mains)
• Inputs: USB, microphone (with level control) and Aux
• Outputs: Speakers, Phones
• Accessories supplied = remote control with batteries, MW loop antena and FM indoor antena
• Supplied with two speaker boxes, bass reflex type, 2 way speaker and a bass reflex type subwoofer
• Front speaker box dimensions = 137 x 239 x 253 mm, 2.2 kg each
• Subwoofer dimensions = 191 x 424 x 253 mm, 3.5 kg
