  • The battery operated Sparton model 6-15 is in the same cabinet as the AC 6-15 Electric model. Both have a one dial (primary tuning control knob) operation. The ad September 1927 of "Radio Retailing" page 15 includes the models 6-15, AC 6-15, 6-26 and AC-7. The model shows a slightly different face in the ad between July and September 1927, but in July it might have been only a make up for photography.Radio Retailing September 1927 page 10 shows the "AC6" also "on Consolette" (below right).     According to "Radio Manufacturers of the 1920's", volume 3, page 118, the AC 6-15 has a price of $ 188 in July 1927 but is replaced by the AC 62 (62) in October 1927.
