My 1961 MW/LW/SW Standard Tuneflash Wave-master 8 transistor radio. When switched on to the 'Hi Fi' option, a little red light comes in the middle of the twin tuning scales and then goes out when a radio station is correctly tuned. When the 'DX' option is selected, sensitivity is optimized and the set is capable of picking up distant stations .
