  • The "Big Ben" Panel "No 2" is a tuning panel for use in the "Big Ben" 3-panel system, it consists of a bakelite panel on 4 brass legs with a Polar variable capacitor under the panel and a Polar dial above the panel.  There are two 2-pin sockets for "Gambrell Brothers" plug-in inductance coils.  One socket is fixed while the other is moveable to allow for both inductance and capacitive tuning.  The "Big Ben" logo and "No 2" are engraved into the top of the panel. There are brass binding posts on all sides of the panel except the front and all brass hardware is gold lacquered.
