  • Notes
  • The Stromberg-Carlson model 130 series radio's are 7 or 8 tube, 25-60Hz or 50-60Hz AC operated BC/Police/SW band receivers.

    Band Frequencies:
    Broadcast Band ("Band A"): 540-1500kHz
    Police Band ("Band B"): 1450-3500MHz
    SW Band ("Band C"): 5.6-18.0MHz

Socket in center on rear of chassis used for receivers that have tuning eye. Has sensitivity control on rear left of chassis(CCW to decrease sensitivity).
Models 130-H, 130-U, 130-L, 130-R and 130-M use chassis P-26246 and operate with 50-60Hz AC power. Models 130-HB, 130-UB, 130-LB, 130-RB and 130-MB use chassis P-26247 and operate with 25-60Hz AC power. Models 130-M, 130-MB, 130-R, 130-RB, 130-J (And 130-JB if it exists) are the 8 tube versions with tuning eye. All other models are 7 tube models. Stromberg-Carlson datasheet P-26436 Issue 2 and Riders do not list a model 130-J, however manufacturer advertising indicate this model was also available. It is unknown if a 130-JB model(25-60Hz version) was available.
