On the front, a thin metal cover, which once opened remains over the scale and shows an image of the earth with the different time zones. To the left of the scale is the tuning knob, while a red LED lights up in relation to tuning. Below the scale, from left to right three linear controls, for squelch, tone and volume. Below are two switches: power on/off and DC/AC. To the right, below, are five long vertical buttons for band selection. Above, the handle, rigid, metal with plastic crossbar and two telescopic antennas, rotating in all directions, internal at rest, 7 sections and 69.5 cm. On the left side, the earphone socket. The rear panel, which can be easily opened, gives access to the battery compartment and the power cable outlet.

Inside are two ferrite antennas, 11.6 and 9 cm. 

Identical to the Westminster 1427 multiband radio except for the badge and AC voltage.
