  • The Viscount Model 1866 is a Solid State 6 Band Portable Radio.  It uses 15 transistors and 10 diodes, offering high sensitivity and some less common RF bands like MB, HPB, and LPB, in addition to the usual bands seen in consumer radios.

    Receiver bands:

    • MB: 1.6 - 4 MHz 
    • SW: 4 - 12 MHz
    • FM: 88 - 108 MHz
    • HPB: 147 - 174 MHz
