I reciently purchased what I thought was a Truetone D911. What is listed in rmorg (tube line up for a D911) is not the same I have in the one I just purchased. I have the following line up...

6K8; 83; 6N6; 76; 6N6; 6Q7; 6K7; 6U5;

The rear of the chassis was penciled with D 911-B Western Auto. I'm looking for confermation and  documentation verifying that I do have -B. I have not been able to locate schematic in Betmans or Riders. Any help would be appreciated..

I'm puzzled, I've rearranged yours:

6K8G 6D6 6Q7G 76 6G5 41 41 80

6K8, 6K7, 6Q7, 76,  6U5, 6N6, 6N6, 83

83 may be a replacement for the 80 that someone has done, I think same pins.

What is replacing the 2 x 41, is there really  2 x 6N6? The 41 is a Pentode and the 6N6 is an unusual dual tube, a  Triode with a built in driver Triode. That's a huge change to the output circuit, though feasible to do.

Western Auto DID make such a set. the 1942 D926

6K8G 6K7G 6Q7G 76 6U5 6N6G 6N6G 80

Interesting it's maybe the same year and apart from insignificant 80 vs 83 difference.

Also it looks like the same layout, just in the free standing console rather than table case.

6U5 = 6G5 The Magic Eye. No difference, though one is shown cylindrical and the other a bulb shape here.

76 is a triode amp.

6Q7 is dector + triode

6D6 is IF amp on 6 pin base. You have an octal 6K7. Does the base look changed? Otherwise it's likely very similar.

6K8 is Mixer / Osc

So really the only difference of significance are the output push pull tubes. It could either be a later manufacturer's design change, a different model or adapted by someone. Good photos of the insides and under the chassis would help.

I'd be surpirsed if the schematic for  the 1942 D926  isn't a perfect match for your model.

Michael you hit the nail right on the head. It is a perfect match all except for the 83. The 83 is a heavy duty mercury vapor filled full wave rectifier. Pin out for the 83 and 80 are identicle. So what do I actually have here a D911 or a D925-B? It came out of a D911 wood table top case, not a floor model. Guess I'll stay with the D911-B. Thank you so much for the help identifying and the documentation. Cheers

Yes, someone has likely  replaced the 80 with an 83.

You should propose a new model, Take photos and assume an 80.
