  • This meter is a competitor to the Fluke model 8020A.  

    The internal speaker is used only to produce a tone for the continunity and voltage indicator function.

    At the time this meter was manufactured, the original Weston Electrical Insturment Company had merged with Sangamo Co Ltd in 1936 to form Sangamo Weston.  Schlumberger aquired the company in 1962.  Products were still sold under the Weston Instruments name in the USA.
