Die Generalvertretung der "Martian Mfg. Co. Newark U.S.A." für Österreich hatte die Firma "Wireless Radio-Gesellschaft" in Wien I. Helferstorferstr. 4. Der Preis der Spezialausführung mit vernickeltem Dreifuss inclusive Antenne war 750000 kr (Kronen). Siehe auch: http://www.radiomuseum.org/dsp_modell.cfm?model_id=46829

  2 Das "Gestell" mit den drei Beinen ist zumindest bei der Normalausführung das Problem, wenn der Detektor nicht immer an trockener Luft war: Das Gestell besteht aus Zinkguss, der sich mit der Zeit ausdehnt und Risse zeigt, wenn nicht sogar zerfällt. Solange das nicht geschehen oder nicht fortgeschritten ist, sollte man mit einem geeigneten transparenten Lack diesen Zerfall verhindern. Davor wenn möglich in einem übertrockenen Raum halten.
