- Notes
- The Frederick Winkler, Jr. company offered a short wave regenerative receiver kit in an May 1921 QST magazine. The receiver was a three circuit variometer set and appeared to be a clone of the Grebe CR-1. The kit even included a fumed quarter sawn oak cabinet. This is the only advertisement I have found for this radio. Lacking an Armstrong regenerative license I would guess a letter was received from Westinghouse explaining that they couldn't be offering regenerative receivers even in a kit form.
