Fellow Radiophiles:

Gary Alley has kindly shared with me his listening report with his W-K Oriole 7B receiver. This receiver is in the unique series of mid-1920's receivers that used cathode follower RF amplifiers. This set has two cathode follower stages. See the performance report on the simpler Oriole 8 with just one cathode follower for details on cathode follower amplifer operation.

Gary showed his Oriole 7B in perfect condition in June 2014 at the "Radio Activity" annual convention of the Mid Atlantic Antique Radio Club (MAARC) in Timonium Maryland USA.

Gary's listening report is attached as a pdf file.

Thank you Gary.

-Joe
