These particular 7F7 tubes must have been meant to be 6SL7GT with and octal base, as on the other side of the glass we can see where they sandblasted everything except 'GT' off of the glass, then made the modifications necessary (the black sleeve comes off with some convincing, and you will find what appears to be a normal 6SL7 envelope with its octal pins inserted into a glue/cement of some kind incased in a metal ring, the one you would typically find at the base of a loctal, and ofc, the loctal pins). These were found in a single sleeve of 5 Service Master tubes. No one I know or asked has every seen anything like it - so, thought I would share as it seems it would be a great addition to a museum. I can get more pictures if requested.
