Description

The metal/glass Arcturus "Coronet" type 24 tube is unusual in that it employs a glass disc instead of a conventional "pinch" for introducing the lead-in wires into the glass bulb. The disc has the wires in a circular formation. The base is octal but an adaptor was sold with the tube to enable it to fit the normal UY 5 pin socket. The adaptor measures 37 mm long, including pins and is 30 mm diameter.
