Description

The American company Sears Roebuck, with its head office in Chigaco sold a range of American designed and made tubes from 1925. A few small manufacturers made these tubes and they were branded "WLS" (Worlds Largest Store). The company allotteed each tube a four digit type number. The company also sold regular branded tubes such as Radiotron, Cunnungham, Meteor and Solartron.

Page 552 of the Fall 1925 SearsRoebuck catalog shows that the 2961 is aRadiotron UV200. This tube has a brass base. It is also listed on page 493 of the Spring 1926 catalog
