| Description |
External anode water-cooled RF power triode. Pure tungsten, stress-free cathode. 12.5KW anode power dissipation. The tube rugged design made it ideal for industrial heating, but it could be used as amplifier or oscillator. Operating frequencies up to 22.5MHz at full ratings and up to 50MHz at reduced anode voltage. 5666 was made by several US manufacturers, including Amperex, Federal, Machlett and Sylvania.
