| Description |
Integral heatsink, forced-air cooled RF power triode. Pure tungsten, stress-free cathode. 10KW anode power dissipation. The tube rugged design made it ideal for industrial heating, but it could be used as amplifier or oscillator. The tube could operate at frequencies up to 5MHz at full ratings and up to 20MHz at reduced anode voltage. 5666 was made by several US manufacturers, including Federal, Machlett and Sylvania.
