Vorletzte Woche habe ich im Heizungskeller meines kürzlich verstorbenen Freundes und Intensivsammlers Günther E. diese beiden identischen originalverpackten Röhren gefunden. Co60 hat ja "gottseidank" eine überschaubare Halbwertszeit. Trotzdem werde ich sie nicht auspacken. Attachments

Kobalt 60 hat eine Halbwertszeit von ca. 5,3 Jahren. Nachdem die Röhre 1959 gefertigt wurde sind bis heute bereits mehr als 10 Halbwertszeiten vergangen. Die Strahlung beträgt derzeit somit weniger als 0,095% der Anfangsstrahlung und ist vernachlässigbar. MfG D. Grötzer |
