In the GE Essential Characteristiscs 1973 it is stated for this tube: Heater warm-up time controlled.
The RCA "binder" sheet of 1960-08-16 shows a sales estimate of 500 pcs. per year. Purchased type, withdrawn 1963-02-14 as no longer available from the vendor, inventory depleted. Used as horizontal deflection oscillator in TV sets.
