En montage audio en push-pull, le tube 7591 est capable de délivrer une puissance respectable avec une fidélité remarquable. Il est en outre conçu pour apporter le moins de distorsions possible à l'étage déphaseur qui précède ; non seulement sa Rg1max peut aller, en polarisation automatique, jusqu'à 1MΩ, mais aussi la tension entre le filament et la cathode qui peut aller jusqu'à 200v permet de le relier en direct (sans condensateur) à l'étage précédent.
