The Rogers 84M is a 8 pin octal (K8A) base tube, all Rogers "M series" tubes are K8A based tubes even if the original type number was not. See note on the Rogers tube data sheet page 1 on our web site http://pacifictv.ca/ (link to Rogers tube data PDF below). The Rogers 84M has the same pin assignment as the 6X5 tube.
