Description

5KV PIV, 125mA average. T9 bulb (28 mm diameter). This tube is designed for use in television sets of the mid 1930's. It was made by RCA, Hytron. Tung-Sol and United (UE-971). The Hytron bulb was an ST14 size (45 mm diameter). A drawing of the tube in the 1933 Lafayette Radio catalog shows the tube having an S14 bulb but this type has not been located so far. Please refer to the RCA data sheet dated January 15th, 1937 for more information. This is a very rare tube.
