| Description |
This tube is designed to demonstrate the principles of the electron lens and how they can be used to function as a microscope. In the tube the surface of the oxide coated nickel cathode is enlarged approximately 25 times and projected on to a fluorescent screen (which glows green) at the top of the tube.
