The ARP12 penthode is not an equivalent of VP22!. The VP22 uses 100 mA heater-current and has a different performance. The VP23 is equivalent to the ARP12 and consumes 50 mA heater-current. Source: Brands Radio-tubes Vademecum. Jan Terranea
