Description The base is mostly stamped "ZOUG" - see manufacturer history about the glass. The anode is a round and wavy metal plate, standing vertical, a disc (disk) with a central hole (perforation) to let the grid and heatertransversely pass through. The grid is coiled hyperbolic. There are slight variations known like diameter of the glass, matting, gettering, base shape etc. See also the other Discus. The very strange concept allows bypass other patents like from Latour but should also reduce anode-grid-capacity - and the degase-ing is more effective (both sides). Swiss patent (1923) number 106343.
