Although according to the European standard the number series 90 ... 99 was assigned for tubes with the Miniature 7-pin base B7G, the company JJ Electronic disregarded this agreement and chose the designation ECC99 for this twin triode, introduced in the late 1990s, although this tube is fitted with the Noval 9-pin base B9A.
