Description |
This tube is classified as a "Phanotron" by the General Electric Company . It is listed on page 48 of the "Story of Electric Development at the General Electric company". Dated Dec 10th, 1930.
The tube is used in applications where rectifications of higher currents at lower frequencies and voltages is desired than is possible with high vacuum tubes.
