Description

This tube is a beam power amplifier designed for use with the output stage of a time base for magnetic TV scanning. The tube has been designed to stand high peak anode voltages required by this class of service. The type number prefix -NR - relates it to the British Royal Navy as a "Navy Receiving" tube. No evidence has so far been found that the tube was given a British Air Force or Army number. It is also available with the CV1189 type numbeer.
